Like the history of our company, the archive of our viadoo blog dates back to 2004. However, we are currently cleaning up our blog archive. We are keeping anything that could still be inspiring. We always adjust the images and occasionally update the content. We delete everything else. Currently, all posts after 2022 are up to date. Older posts are still being revised and are unfortunately not available at this time. But feel free to check back again soon!
Incidentally, our first post was about a media tour we organized for the German Aerospace Industries Association (BDLI). We accompanied journalists from dpa, Reuters, Focus, Phoenix, Financial Times Deutschland, and Welt to BDLI member companies in Bavaria. Among others, we visited Airbus (then EADS), Eurocopter, and MTU Aero Engines.
Of the approximately 70,200 people employed in the German aerospace industry at the time (all figures from 2003), around 26,100 worked in Bavaria. Bavarian aerospace companies contributed €4.8 billion (approx. 31 percent) to the industry’s total turnover of €15.7 billion in Germany.
