Elevate your expertise in aviation safety!

This exclusive half-day webinar is for civil and military aviation safety professionals seeking practical, effective change management strategies for implementing and operating a robust safety management system (SMS). Designed by leading aviation and change management experts, our training starts where EASA, LuftVG, LBA, LufABw or DEMAR regulations fall short:

We work with you on change management theories and tools, which you can use, for example, for SMS-specific risk assessment and for change management to be derived from it. After all, any person responsible for an approval organization should know the difference between change management (CM) and management of change (MoC). Book your course today!

How to manage conflicts and embrace new habits

The implementation of a Safety Management System (SMS) represents a fundamental change to an existing system. If managers fail to control this top-down change systematically through Change Management (CM), conflicts can quickly arise. Resolving these conflicts is usually costly, time-consuming and makes the SMS implementation unnecessarily more expensive.

The same applies to the operation of an SMS. This is because significant changes in personnel, fleet, organizational structure, infrastructure, etc. require Safety Risk Assessment in accordance with EASA. This leads to certain consequences for which Management of Change (MoC) is mandatory. Because these changes can also quickly become conflictual, managers should control them using Change Management (CM) methods as well.

In both cases, the aim is to help people to avoid or resolve conflicts and to embrace change and new habits in a structured way and by means of professional methods. This is the focus of our “Change Management in Safety Management” training.
